Hi! I’m Karen

I am a first time off grid cabin owner

I decided to create this site while I was busy setting up my off cabin, which has been quite the adventure! After purchasing a fixer-upper on the East Coast that definitely needed some love and attention, I’ve learned a ton about home improvement and living off the grid. With all that knowledge and experience under my belt, I felt inspired to share my journey with everyone! Plus, I have this incredible Russian part-wolf Siberian mutt who keeps me company and adds a lot of fun to my daily life.
